About

Helios Academic is an independent academic practice led by a senior international educator specialising in Mathematics and Physics.

The practice supports students preparing for GCSE, A-Level, and International Baccalaureate examinations, with experience across multiple examination boards and academic cycles.

Professional lineage includes teaching within a college and at international study centres in Oxford, alongside ongoing institutional teaching in Switzerland. This work spans diverse academic environments and examination pathways, informing a measured and examination-literate approach to academic oversight.

Helios Academic operates internationally, with support delivered primarily online. In-person academic work may be undertaken selectively within Switzerland. In certain circumstances, Helios Academic undertakes in-person academic work internationally for defined periods, where appropriate to the student’s academic programme.

The practice is founded on the principle that sustained academic performance emerges from disciplined direction, analytical clarity, and work undertaken with intellectual seriousness over time.
